Quality Improvement

The Institute for Health Policy works collaboratively with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Michigan Medicaid managed care plans, and other partners on a variety of health care quality improvement projects. The IHP Quality Improvement Team blends the talents of staff members with over 75 combined years of diverse health care industry experience to conduct a broad range of projects in the areas of:

  • Maternal and Child Health
  • Chronic Disease
  • Managed Care Quality Improvement and Accreditation
  • Education

Consistent with the IHP mission, the Quality Improvement Team has the ability to translate research to non-academic settings, benefiting our partners and Michigan residents.
